Assignment 1: Vocab Collage
1. With your group, create a Frayer Model Vocab Catcher using one of the collage apps (Pic Collage or Turbo Collage).

assignment 4: Cartoon Animation
1. Use FlipBoom, Animation HD, Animation Desk or FlipBook HD to create a cartoon animation of a scientific process. You may choose one of the following processes or come up with your own: charge movement during polarization or during a lightning strike; blood flow through the heart; movement of electrons during a redox reaction; a car accelerating from rest as it rolls down a hill; seed germination.
* To do this, you will need to draw frame-by-frame images of the different steps or stages of the process. 2. Once you have finished sketching your animation, export your video to your photo library. 3. Turn in assignment by uploading video to Edmodo. |
assignment 5: Screencast tutorials
1. Using the Explain Everything app, create a 1-2 minute screencast in which you write- and voice-record instructions describing how to: a) draw a free body diagram; b) balance a chemical equation; c) find the epicenter of an earthquake; d) convert units using dimensional analysis; e) evaluate a Punnett Square to predict offspring.
2. Export your presentation as a "movie" or "video" to photo library. 3. Turn in assignment by uploading video to Edmodo. |
